Grand Opening of New Playroom

New and improved playroom. I only have a picture of Seneca because Sister had on no clothing.

Girls 1st karate class in WA

Eowyn and Giana Started Karate today at a new school. They are the first students in the little dragons class. They let Giana in because she had done Karate before. You are suppose too be 5 to join the class. I am not sure that he realized that she is only 3 (4 in a few weeks). I told the owner that I could promise that she would be the best behaved child in the class. They did great. Eowyn had to earn her white belt today. SO that was fun for her. They did not have a uniform to fit Giana, she may get one next week.

Seneca had a hart painted on her but she had tears and they
broke her heart in half.

The girls are doing swim lessions. Well Eowyn and Giana, I can not work in Seneca right now.

Shawn Leaves for Iraq

Shawn left for Iraq today. He will be traveling for many days. This is Seneca saying goodbuy to daddy.

Giana saying goodbuy. A few days ago Giana asked why the movers have not come yet. I did not understand, till today at 5 am she said buy to the house, she was thinking that we were all going away with Shawn. She has moved so much that she just thought we were all moving again. Shawn was able to give Giana an early B-day gift yesterday and we all had a cake for all the B-days Shawn will miss.

Eowyn seems to be doing OK. She remembers a lot from the time Shawn deployed last time.

Eowyn and Giana will start Karate this weekend and I am excited, it is a new program and should be fun. I hope they like it.

Northwest Trek

We went to Northwest Trek this weekend. It is sort of a open-air, drive through zoo (you ride through on a tram.) See their website at http://www.nwtrek.org/.

The girls got bored on the tram. Eowyn wants zebras and giraffes, and Northwest Trek is only animals native to western North America.

New Car

The Gordons are now the proud owners of two Korean automobiles. We bought a Kia Sedona minivan last weekend. Along with Shawn's Hyundai Sonata, we are strong supporters of the Land of Morning Calm.

Here is the picture. I would tell you that it is the camera angle that makes me look like I have a potbelly, but I'd be lying.
