Gordon Girls 2009 Edition

We just had our family photos taken at the Target photo studio.  Our girls did multiple poses, but Seneca did not have an individual one that turned out great.  I can say that it definitely looks like Seneca though.

Enjoy the pictures of the Gordon Girls.

Seneca starts school, baby hair cut

Seneca started Pre-K next door. She did well, I was sure she would get frustrated and just run home. The teacher said something about needing to learn about rules, or some thing silly like that.

Seneca avoiding eye contact, a valuable skill for a 3 year old. I do not see you, I can not hear you. Getting ready to go in to school.

Seneca was not sure about going to school. Then I suggested she wear the fancy Dora dress and she was all for that.
Help mom an dad are too cheap to take me to a hair dresser.

Hitting a moving target with sharp things. What fun. Eowyn is the worst to do. $8 scissors from the store, an hair cuts at the cheap place in the mall $10 a kid.

Suzy the crazy dog, she sleeps she poops

This was Shawn dumping Tundra's ashes in a local park that he used to love. I had to stay in car with sleeping baby. Eowyn did a great job taking the pictures.

Sarafina fell back into this box and was stuck. So what did we do? Got the camara of course.

You should have seen the worms that came out of this fancy dog, after I gave her meds. Now she is much more playfull and happy.

She did not like me taking so many pictures of her.

2008 IN REVIEW

This is Suzy, our new addition. She is a whippet puppy, and is just four months old. We got here at the end of the year.

We had to put Tundra to sleep this year. He was eleven years old, and in a lot of pain. We will all miss Tundra very much. He is seen here with Sarafina.

Shawn home this year. Below Shawn in Iraq last.

Eowyn at the start of school 2007, notice the all pink, some time over the last year she switched to all blue.Giana at age 4 showing off the best teeth in the house. She is now in Kindergarten and working very hard, I do not think that anyone in the house works as hard as she does. If I worked as hard as her my house would be spotless, and dinner would be on the table every day and the launandry would not only be washed it would be folded and put away.

Giana this year.

Bald toddler last year and our big 3 year old.

Sarafina above at 1 years, and below at 0 years

The 3 older gils got a chance to dance at a retirement home. They all did very well. It had been a few weeks since there dance class had practiced. The preformance was delayed due to the storm. At first Seneca refused to dance, but after her first number she would not leave the dance floor. Hope you can pick out the Gordon girls this was the last number where all kids did the dancing.

New Countertops

Our new countertops were installed today.  They came a day late because of the snow.  Here is the before shot, with our old, bad countertops.

Here are the countertops, with integrated sink, in front of the house.  You can see all of our
snow in the background.
Our old countertops and backsplash had to be removed.
There were two workers from the countertop place and one plumber
Here are the new countertops.  The color is Sea Foam Quartz.  The countertops are made by LG, a Korean company, which means that the Gordons have two Korean cars, two Korean cell phones, a Korean Blu-Ray player, and Korean countertops.
We like them!

Seneca

Seneca turned three yesterday.  She had some neighborhood kids over for her birthday party.  We couldn't go anywhere because of the snow.

Seneca and her Dora cake, which was a family effort to make.

Seneca and the chef outfit grandma Joy gave to her.
Seneca and her Dora rocking horse.
Seneca's first haircut EVER!  She had five hairs dangling into her eyes, and her curlies were getting long in the back.
Happy Birthday to Seneca!
