Little ham Giana

Seneca was so cold her lips turned blue
The owner of the farm told us he was the first ever principal of the Holly Family School. That is the school Giana is going to, but must be fun to see how much the school has grown.
The girls finished up swimming lessions and we are not going to take any for a while, not till new baby comes. They both did so well. Eowyn spends most of her time under the water. After the lessions we decided to go out for pizza. I wanted to get a small but thought we could get a med. and then take some home for lunch. The 3 girls ate the whole thing, by themselves. It was amazing to watch.

new hair cuts

Grandma at hair place.

Eowyn is not so sure about hair cut.

Giana loving the Dora hair cut.

Eowyns hair was very long but a mess.

Poor hair dresser was confused by Giana's hair, someone had been giving her strange hair cuts.

Done. The girls were very happy with new hair cut. Eowyns hair is very straight but I am sure it will get wild again after we wash it. So now Giana talkes different and looks different. She told me she is a new person now.

Above is the kids new play court.

Today we went to the Roloff farm in OR. The farm is made famous by the TLC show little people big world. It was a rainy day, so we got lucky when we got to the farm the rain stoped so the farm was not too busy.

NPR story

The Minnesota National Guard's 1st Brigade Combat Team returned from Iraq after 22 months, the longest deployment in history for the Guard. Families left behind struggle to put their lives back together.

The link above should take you to the story if you are interested. I can believe these people had to do 22 months of combat. At the end of the story the unit Chaplin had a great quote.

Major Chaplin JOHN MORRIS (Minnesota National Guard 1st Combat Brigade): When people say there's not a draft, that's wrong. I volunteered my family got drafted. The sad reality is that we are crushing families.
